    Great Purchase for Summer with a Newborn

    My son was born in January. Purchased this thing because I wanted something that would hold him up sufficiently out of the water so that we could enjoy ourselves and not be constantly worried. We started out constantly worried just to be safe, but over time this inflatable gained our respect for being a perfect place for the little guy in the pool.

    It's pretty good at positioning him in a swimming position where he can kick his legs underneath him. He holds his head up now, but if he puts it down, it lands on the inflatable part out of the water. The floatie allows a little to come between the two inflatable areas to allow him to splash and play with little pool toys.

    The sun protector part was the weakest aspect of it. It may have broken after being weighed down with water at one point. It no longer locks into place and starts sagging. Because it can hold water, it will be susceptible to filling up if you flip it over to rinse it. Just be careful with it, and maybe yours will last. I wish the sun protector was detachable or possibly made of the mesh to allow water to come through to give it a longer life for those that aren't as careful.

    I purchased this Swim School baby float to have for my son. I love that this floatie has a built in sunshade! This float is so easy to use and the sunshade has as lock in place feature! This is the perfect size floatie to use in a personal pool and also is perfect for a fun day at the beach. The netting around the seat section is perfect for holding all your littles pool toys in arms reach! My son is a larger baby and it accommodates his weight with ease. The strap adjustment for the seat part of this float lets you adjust how far in the water your child sits!

    We have a little boy who’s 18 months old. We used this float all summer in our neighborhood pool & throughout the water park’s Lazy River. The shade is adjustable which I like but it can come loose & not want to stick in it’s upright position sometimes. I love the mesh net vs the old-school inflatable ducky floats because it moves with the water. The outer ring you inflate in conjunction with the large surface area gave me & continues to give me peace of mind that he can’t topple over. Don’t leave it out in the sun. That’s my only advice. The fabric can wither pretty quickly. But if you take care of it & keep it dry when not in use, I can see it lasting a long time. It’s worth the money!

    It worked for 1-2 uses but the top covering bends and is not sturdy enough to be reliable for sun protection. It also has weak fasteners and does not come far enough over the baby for good protection. Wish I could return

    I bought this fir my 1 year old and it keeps them above the water pretty well. My baby absolutely loves the water and this allowed her to splash the water with her hands and didn't sink to low.

    A mi bebé de 7 meses le encantó y es muy seguro, agarra bien. Eso sí obviamente no puedes dejarlo de supervisar todo el tiempo. Si cubre del sol al bebé pero aún así pónganle gorrito contra rayos UV. A los 20 minutos les empieza a dar sueño en l alberca. Está lo máximo lo súper recomiendo.

    Love the shade and how sturdy it is. The upper body stays quite dry as there is a seat and not much bobbing up n down the waters. Tried it for my 11m girl. Not sure how it will be when she is older and more active, but for now, she remains calm and seems to enjoy the water with this. The toys are within reachable distance to her short arms, great float all in all.
